Allan Martin, candidate for Washington State Treasurer, spoke in Sequim at the Paradise Restaurant on April 22, 2008.  The event was sponsored by the Republican Women of Clallam County, and co-sponsored by the Clallam County Republican Party.

Martin is currently serving as Assistant Washington State Treasurer.  He was a former Chelan County Treasurer, a Republican.

Allan Martin's experience and skill in Treasury operations is recognized statewide.  He is endorsed by county treasurers across the state, State Treasurer Mike Murphy, Attorney General Rob McKenna, Secretary of State Sam Reed, and former Governor Dan Evans, and many other notable local officials and citizens.

"My experience in state and local government and having lived on both sides of the Cascades will benefit the taxpayers of our state," said Martin.

Allan is married to Sue Martin who grew up in South Seattle.  They have three children, including a daughter serving in the United State Marine Corps.
